Elias Kanaris is an author, professional keynote speaker, executive coach, leadership trainer, and entrepreneur. He has been a regular keynote presenter and he has frequently spoken to audiences in the I.T., telecommunications, insurance, financial services, real estate, and education sectors across thirteen countries on four continents. Since the early 1980s, Elias has been using humour and energy to deliver great learning experiences to his audiences.
Elias was the President with the Global Speakers Federation (2018-2019) and the President of the Professional Speakers Association of New Zealand (2015-2017). He is also a Founding Partner and Maxwell Method certified member of Maxwell Leadership (the fastest growing leadership training team worldwide), where he served on the President's Advisory Council.
Elias was born in North Africa, was educated in the UK, and now lives in Murrays Bay in Auckland with his wife of 22 years and two of his four children.
He has authored three books. His latest book, ‘Leading From The Stop: Positive influence and heartfelt resilience in times of adversity’ is about the leadership lessons learned from the people of Newfoundland, Canada in the aftermath of 9/11.
